Its been a while since we posted any character sheet templates. I’m about to embark on a Savage Worlds game, a new system for me (which is in itself quite amazing), so as always when trying to learn a new system I ended up working my way through the character sheet and in so doing drew up a version of my own.
Its not an official product, we aren’t associated or affiliated in any way with the writers of Savage Worlds and their logo is used on the sheet without permission (but I’m sure they will be cool about it).

I’m off to see a group of my oldest roleplaying friends next weekend and to my absolute joy one of them has volounteered to run a game of “Skyrealms of Jorune”. If you’ve never played it then you have missed out. It is one of those classic games that appeared in the mid 1980′s – I think the second edition (the box set) was published in 1985. It combined a fantastic storyline and premise with a simple enough gaming system, the artwork was wonderful and it was a rare enough game that those of us that played it could feel proudly geeky and slightly superior, as we did back in the day!
Anyway I realised that I had no printable character sheets; so without permission I have butchered some scans to provide a downloadable PDF which can be printed out to give an approximation of the original 4 page – yes four page – character sheet and also as I was in the swing of things a two page Combat Summary Sheet, which makes playing the game nice and easy.
I hope there are people out there who might find them useful.

Inspired by the previous article on word games by the Spawn of.. I got busy one lunchtime and put together a set of clue cards and instructions for playing Cthulhian charades and taboo. Ideal for playing with a group of friends, I recommend a group of five or six, and also a few beers maybe to get the thinking muscles nicely relaxed.
The attached PDF file contains 100 clue cards, instruction booklet for both Cthulhian charades and taboo as well as a single page of card backs with a nice tentacle design and of course our web address!
